On Thursday 7 March 2019, the screening of the documentary "The Destruction of Memory" by the American director Tim Slade took place in the Aula Magna of the University of Parma. In the documentary, taken from the book by Robert Bevan "The Destruction of Memory: Architecture of War (Reaktion Books, London, 2016)", the theme of the deliberate destruction of cultural heritage and the dispersion of objects of historical and cultural value with the intent to erase the history and identity of populations is addressed. The screening, organized by CSEIA, was followed by a short debate, which was attended by the director, Tim Slade, by Elisabetta Feddda, art historian of the Department of Humanities, Social and Cultural Enterprises of the University of Parma, and by Laura Pineschi, the Director of CSEIA and professor of International Law at the Department of Law, Political and International Studies.
